Alexandrite
Alexandrite lasers emit at a wavelength of 755 nm, well within the absorption spectrum of melanin, and this makes the laser perfectly suitable for removing hair. Alexandrite lasers are also used for a variety of aesthetic dermatology procedures.
Cr4:YAG
Cr4+:YAG crystals have several advantages when compared to traditional Passive Q-switching choices such as organic dyes and colour centres materials.
CTH:YAG
CTH:YAG -yttrium aluminium garnet laser crystals doped with chromium, thulium and holmium ions to provide lasing at 2.13 microns are finding more and more applications, especially in the medical industry.
Er:YAG
Lasers powered by Er:YAG (erbium substituted: yttrium aluminium garnet), operating at 2.94 microns, crystals couple well into water and body fluids. This is especially useful for applications in the fields of laser medicine and dentistry.
Laser Crystals Introduction
Roditi International is the leading distributor of laser crystals in Europe, with our customers manufacturing lasers for a wide variety of applications from heavy industry through to medicine and academic research.
Nd:GdVO4
This material is one of the newer active laser media for diode pumped laser systems. Compared to Nd:YAG, Neodymium Doped Gadolinium Vanadate offers similar advantages to Nd:YVO4 – high gain, low threshold and high absorption coefficients – but has the additional advantage of much higher thermal conductivity.
Nd:YAG
Neodymium-doped yttrium aluminium garnet laser crystal (Nd:YAG) provides the laser system designer with the most versatile solid state laser source in use today.
Nd:YLF
Our Nd:YLF crystals are grown using the Czochralski technique. The use of high quality starting materials for crystal growth, whole boule interferometry, and precise measurement of bulk losses using transmission spectroscopy assures that each crystal will perform to customer specifications.
Nd:YVO4
This material has been growing in popularity because of Yttrium Vanadate's high gain, low lasing threshold and high absorption coefficients at pumping wavelengths, which result from the excellent fit of the neodymium dopant in the crystal lattice.
Ruby Laser Rods
Ruby laser material combines excellent physical and optical properties with good laser performance characteristics. The thermal conductivity of the aluminium oxide host is superior to all other solid state laser host.
Ti:Sapphire
Titanium-doped sapphire is an optically pumped, solid-state laser material with an indefinitely long stability and useful life. It is the most widely used crystal for wavelength tunable lasers.
Yb:YAG
Lasers powered by Er:YAG (erbium substituted: yttrium aluminium garnet), operating at 2.94 microns, crystals couple well into water and body fluids. This is especially useful for applications in the fields of laser medicine and dentistry.
