Lithium Niobate Wafers
Lithium Niobate (LiNbO3) applications include electro-optic modulator and Q-switch for Nd:YAG, Nd:YLF and Ti:Sapphire lasers as well as modulator for fiber optics.
We also supply “black” wafers free of pyroelectric discharge: detailed specifications

- Surface quality: scratch – , hole – and wiper free by magnification of 800
- Parallelity: typ. < 10′
- Flatness: typ. < 1µm / 10 mm (test region 98 %)
MgO : LiNbO3
- Integrated optical grade quality
- Thickness 1 mm
- Diameter 3″, 4″ or 5″
- X – cut
- Both sides optical polished
- Y – or Z – axis orientated with flat
- Surface quality: scratch – , hole – and wiper free by magnification of 800
- Parallelity: typ. < 10′

- For MgO – doped material: 5 mol % Mg
