Magnesium Fluoride (MgF2)
Magnesium Fluoride has high transmittance from 200nm – 700nm. It is commonly used for windows, lenses and other optical components for its range of uses from UV to Infrared. It offers higher resitance to water than similar fluorides and is utilized in systems where durability is important.
Roditi’s optical MgF2 material is single-crystal optical quality, fabricated to order.
